So you want to learn how to survive prison? I have done a couple years behind bars and most of my friends are ex convicts as well. I sat them down and we made up the following list of rules you must follow to survive and not get killed behind bars. Yes, jail or prison is a very dangerous place but being able to make the best of it will either make or break you, kill you or make you survive.

How to survive prison #1 - Always stay in touch with your family and friends. Being able to know that you have people on the outside that care about you is a big part of keeping your mind balanced. Be sure to get visits from family. However, when you get mail from your family or friends, rip off the return addresses, and when you make phone calls cover the dial pad with your spare hand. You don’t want any other inmates harassing your family or friends cause they have beef with you.

How to survive prison #2 - Never gamble and never borrow items off of inmates. If an inmate offers to help you out right as you arrive in your cell block say no. If he offers you food, cigarettes, or whatever, say no. Chances are you will be in debt to that inmate for double or triple of what he gave you. So stay away from this trick and don’t get victimized by the scam artists in there. Live off what you have. However if you dont have much learn how to bargain and trade the things you do have.

How to survive prison #3 - Be respectful to the guards anf follow their rules but don’t turn into an informant. Another thing is to not be seen hanging out with the guards or being their friends. Just remember that guards aren’t your friends and they can betray you at any time. Keep this in mind. Also, if you see an act of violence or a crime, and that guard asks you what you saw, always say you saw nothing. If another inmate stabs another inmate, and it happens right in front of you, you tell the guards you saw nothing. In jail if you stand on trial in a course case or testify this makes you a rat. And a dead man.

How to survive prison #4 - I suggest you study martial arts and look into self defense courses. Knowing how to fight is one of the biggest survival tactics of the prison system. If someone threatens you, or starts problems with you, and you can’t talk your way out of it, throw fists. Just be aware of the people you are fighting and their political status behind bars. If they are in a gang be careful, but always stand your ground. Don’t be a coward and take a beating cause it will happen often. Soon enough another inmate will own you, because you need protection. Making you his punk.

Infrared Saunas Can Give You Business Income

The advent of an infrared technology has increased the scope of an extremely popular business - the spa. A spa is one of the most well-liked destinations for many of the health-conscious and fashion-conscious people. Actually, infrared saunas are growing popular with people staying in urban places. An infrared sauna retains all the benefits provided by traditional saunas and also provides additional benefits in spite of its smaller form. Far-infrared radiant heat is an absolutely risk-free form of naturally occurring energy that heats objects by a process called direct light conversion. Radiant heat is also called infrared heat or infrared energy. Conversion of direct light does not raise the temperature of the surrounding free air but heatens up only the object.

Going to a spa, resort, health clubs or sauna is always comforting, but sometimes (or all of the time) it’s not so fun to be unaccompanied. Traditional Finnish saunas allow more than one person, and finally infrared saunas can fit more than one person to relax and enjoy themselves. With an infrared sauna, you and a family member, partner, or friend can calm and relax together.

The infrared sauna is a device used to increase weight loss and detoxify the body. At the heart of the saunas functionality is sweat. The infrared sauna heats up to temperatures of 125 degrees. Unlike the steam saunas that raise the temperature higher than 160 degrees, the infrared sauna aims to provide warmth without the chance of overheating.

The infrared sauna spa clubs are comprised of four walls and a roof. There are benches located inside, where users can sit and relax in the heat of the sauna. According to manufacturers, the infrared rays reach as far as two inches into the body producing more sweat and thus increasing the detoxification ability of the sauna.

Health club members are seen to get inclined to become fans of the clubs if the club tends to have a sauna. They experience the great comfort of using saunas by going and spending some time in spas, gyms or health clubs. So if you own a health club then here is an idea for you: add a sauna. If it is high-class or formal clubs then add both of multi-person and single-person saunas and for a more informal ambiance add more of multi-person saunas. Segregate the men’s and ladies saunas for better business traction and client impressions if you sense that separating would make your customers more satisfied. Alternatively, you may offer shared sessions in which both gentlemen and ladies would share saunas and also offer reserved hours for gentlemen and ladies separately.

In a nutshell, using a sauna would generate a good amount of business for you in the longer run if you do it methodically. See, most people would spend much more in a health club than what they would spend if they had purchased the same equipments at home. As a business owner, you probably already know that. Simply re-use this common psychology - setup an infrared sauna in your club or organization and it is going to reap golden benefits for you.

    The Best Drive Time Slots

Getting the right drive time tunes can make or break a day. If you are running courier jobs, here are five great radio stations to get your day started.

The radio is a driver’s best friend – it provides news, some tunes to keep you entertained, and lets you know about a snarl up on the M25 before you end up stuck in traffic for hours on end. This is especially true for couriers – when you’ve got a long day of courier jobs ahead of you, you want to make sure you’ve got some good tunes playing.

Drive time doesn’t really mean the same thing to couriers as it does to most people – after all, for a courier all day is drive time. But the way you start can put you in a good or bad mood for the rest of the day. Here are five drive time shows to consider listening to when you first get in your vehicle.

Radio 1 – For light entertainment

If you’re looking for something fun and entertaining to start your day, then Radio 1 is the place for you. Chris Moyles, who hosts from 6.30am to 10am, is someone that people either like or loathe, but if you like his style, his mixture of music, discussion and comedy will be the ideal thing to listen to as you start the first of your courier jobs of the day.

    Classic FM – For relaxation

Sometimes, you just know a day is going to stress you out, and if you’ve got some unpleasant courier jobs lined up, tune into Classic FM in the morning to try and maintain your levels of calm. For some people, of course, classical music is about as calming as listening to nails down a blackboard, but if listening to Schubert and Mozart makes you mellow, listening to some popular classics might be just the ticket if you’ve got a long day ahead.

Radio 4 – For self improvement

If you are running courier jobs and spending a lot of time in your car or van, perhaps you would like do something a little more constructive than listening to the latest tunes or hearing Chris Moyles crack jokes. If so, then Radio 4 may provide the kind of stimulation that you are after. From radio plays to political debates and cultural documentaries, there’s plenty to get your teeth into. The Today show that plays in the morning provides a good roundup of news, sport, weather and the famous Thought of the Day.

Resonance FM – For something different

Sometimes you may feel the need for something strange to kick off your day. Plenty of radio stations can get pretty wacky late at night – few manage to maintain this level of surrealness throughout an entire day, let alone at drive time. Resolutely non-commercial radio station Resonance FM (only available in London) provides its Nightloop show from 1 in the morning to 12 noon, playing highlights and archive music from its bizarre back catalogue. Expect the unexpected; whether it is four hours of birdsong, a talk by a Slovenian cultural theorist, or the latest ear-bleeding techno music, Resonance FM is guaranteed to give you something utterly unpredictable every time you tune in.<<< visit new projects >>>
