FHTM TIPS - How Your Attitude Creates Your Character and Success

January 31st, 2010

What do character and circumstances, attitude and perspective have to do with being a successful FHTM rep? We often hear people say that circumstances reveal character, not that circumstances create character. Character is galvanized as your attitudes carry and shape your responses to events and challenges - especially those that are beyond your control. It is your attitude that creates the root for your character.

Your perspective on situations determines whether you will be filled with bitterness and resentment or develop a victim mentality. An optimistic attitude on the other hand, puts you in a position to move forward and learn from every circumstance you encounter, good or bad. In these challenging times and with the 24-7 negative news cycle, developing a positive attitude is paramount. The right attitude will make each circumstance a situation that can turn out to be a success. By carrying the right attitudes with you - you will continually make the place you are in, good or bad, the right place to accomplish the extraordinary. Isn’t it fascinating that so many people who find themselves having it all, proceed to completely destroy their opportunities by their negative attitude.

The best example of this hypothesis is in the Fortune Hi Tech Marketing business. In the FHTM business, we have all watched new Fortune reps completely flop because of their negative attitude. The complaining by these FHTM reps range from going to meetings, customer points and showing the plan to prospects, something they seldom do. A FHTM rep can’t be successful unless they get their appropriate number of points and show the plan, and in a way that makes people desire to join. They are regularly called the ‘whiners’ by Paul Orberson, the founder of FHTM.

It is so inspiring when we find out about people, who found themselves in the very worst possible circumstances, but they overcame the situation or the environment and they rose to greatness by the force of their perspective and positive attitude alone. These positive attitude FHTM reps immediately learn about and then establish their customer points and go out and successfully show the plan. Paul Orberson, founder of FHTM, continuously calls these Fortune reps ‘winners’.

Fortune Hi Tech Marketing has the ideal illustration of a winner in Paul Orberson, who went from being a low paid coach and teacher in Kentucky to become the premier paid network marketer in the history of network marketing. Look at many of the leaders in Fortune; they have gone from the most difficult of circumstances to be extremely successful in FHTM. The common attribute you find in all of these leaders is a positive attitude and perspective. These are the people to listen to and learn from to develop into a successful Fortune rep.

You will be more successful if you have a positive attitude from the start of becoming a fortune rep, selecting support tools, obtaining point requirements and taking all the FHTM training you can find. As is often said by Paul Orberson and his successful team of leaders, they want to ‘meet you at the top’. With the right attitude you will be a highly successful FHTM leader. Paul Orberson and Fortune have created the wave and you need to Ride the Wave to Success!

Around the World in 18 Holes - Renditions Golf Course

From TheLocalGolfer.com - It’s hard to believe, but at Renditions in Davidsonville, MD, public golfers are provided the opportunity to play some of the greatest holes from golf courses across the globe. Each hole on the course is a replication of a famous hole from various major championships and world-renowned golf clubs. From Oakmont, Shinnecock Hills & Winged Foot to Royal Birkdale, Carnoustie & others, Renditions mimics the layout and design from these celebrated courses and brings them to a local setting.

Renditions’ slogan is “Golf’s Grand Slam Experience” and it lives up to its boast. As you approach the well-designed 1930’s-style clubhouse, the staff immediately greets you, takes your clubs out of your car, and preps your golf cart while directing you to check-in. It is evident that Renditions is a first class facility, and your experience is heightened before you step up to the first tee.

With exception of a couple of the tee boxes, the course conditions are immaculate. From fairway to green it is difficult to find a problem with the course, other than the fact that the “rough” earns its namesake and the elevation changes on the greens make for a frustrating round of putts. That being said, part of the attraction to Renditions is that you get to experience the game the way the Pros do, and after 18 holes, you certainly gain a new found appreciation for what Tiger, Phil and the guys (and gals) are able to accomplish every weekend.

Because of the design of the course, just about every hole may leave a lasting impression. For me, it did not get much better than playing Renditions’ version of Amen Corner. Considering that the course is in Maryland and not Georgia (meaning different climates, soil, wind, etc.), Renditions has done an excellent job attempting to replicate the most storied three-hole stretch in the game. Holes #6, #7 and #8 (Augusta National’s #11, #12 and #13)

are beautiful and challenging with small details adding to the experience, like the Leader Board with updates from the 2009 Masters and the Hogan Bridge. Standing over my ball on the #6 fairway analyzing my approach, I was willingly distracted by the #7 green, #8 tee box, water, bridges and all the other excitement of Amen Corner.

What an incredible three holes.

The #13, Par 3 is a replica of the Island Green at TPC Sawgrass (#17). On TV, you see the best in the world struggle to land the ball on the island, and now I know firsthand that it’s even harder than it looks.

It looks like an easy shot with the green a mere 150 yards from the tee, but the combination of water surrounding the island and the slope and speed of the green make it extremely intimidating and virtually impossible (well, at least for the guys I played with. Not one of the four in my group landed the tee shot).

Although less than a decade old, Renditions has dealt with declining course conditions over the past couple of years. Admittedly, previous issues with the course were a direct result of overplay and misallocated resources, aspects which the new staff is very mindful of as they work to enhance the golfing experience of their guests.

The message from the general manager was clear — it’s not going to happen overnight, but they are taking all the necessary steps to make sure Renditions remains one of the top courses in the region. It’s the little things, like opening up the grass area of the driving range on the weekends and continuing to improve the menu at the Players Grill, that indicate the staff has the golfers’ interest at heart.

Cold Sore Remedies - Great Results Stopping Cold Sores Instantly

Deciding on cold sore remedies can be quite confusing because of all the hype and inaccurate information today. Hopefully I can cut through the clutter and brighten your life with some excellent cold sore remedies that will work every time.

Commercial cold sore remedies you buy at the drug store are considered mostly comfort treatments. They relieve your discomfort with oils and numbing agents such as lidocaine. And that is good.

But, commercial cold sore remedies do little or nothing for getting rid of cold sores quickly. Natural home remedies still will give you the best results.

The following are some top cold sore remedies that have proven to be excellent at curing your sores. Give them a try. They will out-perform most store-bought remedies.

1. GARLIC OIL.

Garlic is a very powerful and easy cold sore remedy. Under a microscope, you can watch viruses flee from just the smell of it.

Garlic also has the unique ability to pass right through the skin and attack the virus underneath. Rub fresh garlic on the bottom of your feet and it will be on your breath in about 20 minutes.

Fresh garlic, either cut or crushed, will give you the very best results.

When it is not convenient, you can buy gel-caps at the vitamin store designed for internal use. Just nip the gel-cap and squeeze out the oil directly on your cold sores.

Take garlic orally too as it will greatly speed the results of topical treatment. Plus, you will be more resistant to cold and flu virus too.

2. PEPPERMINT OIL.

Mint has been discovered as a powerful healer of cold sores. It has shown to be able to stop cold sores and heal them in a hurry. Of course, it does not have the garlic odor.

The best way to obtain peppermint oil for safely applying directly to the sore is to buy peppermint gel-caps at the vitamin store. Just as you would with the garlic gel-caps, you prick them and squeeze the oil directly on the sore.

There is also available peppermint oil for aromatherapy use. These essential oils are very strong and not for putting directly on your skin from the bottle. Get aromatherapy instructions and follow their directions for diluting it with olive oil.

You can also mix garlic and peppermint oil for an exceptional topical cold sore remedy.

3. TEA BAGS.

Heat application speeds up the healing of any wound. This is the case with cold sores that have blossomed open too. It gives you a flood of extra oxygenated blood to the wound.

Your best way to do this is by applying heated tea bags. Common black tea works great. If you can find black tea with lemon balm or mint it will work much better and faster.

Caution. Never heat a tea bag directly in a microwave. Heat the water first, then use the hot water to heat the bag. The microwave radiation ruins the special healing nutrients in tea.

4. LYSINE.

Lysine is one of the most effective and well-proven treatments you will find. No matter what other cold sore remedies you use, this should always be part of your plan.

Lysine is a common protein found in dairy and fish. It works by reducing the amount of arginine in your cells. Arginine is the protein fraction needed by the herpes virus to create new viruses.

By stopping the herpes virus from creating new virus, you can avoid - or quickly eliminate - any cold sores. Lysine really discourages the herpes replication process.

Folks start taking it the minute they feel an outbreak coming on. They continue to take it until the skin is again clear. Common dose during this time is 3000 to 4000 milligrams spread out each day.

Lysine is quite safe. For example, a large serving of Flounder contains about 10,000 milligrams of lysine. For me, I prefer lysine capsules. They are cheap and very convenient to use.

You will find these to be some of the finest cold sore remedies around.

Be sure to try them. You will get awesome results and return to your social life quickly when you use these potent cold sore remedies.
